Phillip Turner III receives Outstanding Citizenship Award

PRESS RELEASE- Earlier this week, at the Loudon County Commission meeting, Phillip Turner III was awarded the Outstanding Citizenship Award.  On February 12, 2024, Mr. Turner was on his way to work when he noticed a house on fire. Mr. Turner entered the home and found a mother and child still asleep. He woke them up and helped them out of the house and then returned to rescue the families dog. Had it not been for the heroic actions of Mr. Turner, this event could of had a tragic outcome.
NOTE: There was no smoke alarms in the house at the time of the fire. Working smoke alarms are the first notification of smoke or fire increasing the chances of survival. If you are in need of smoke alarms, please contact us and we will install them free of charge.
